Boy Scouts of America

Associations & Non-Profits

The Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council now serves the same four counties it did from 1923 to 1933 when it became two separate councils. We make a direct and positive impact to over 23,000 youth in our community through a variety of fun and challenging experiences. Through commitment to our program, youth acquire valuable life skills and a sense of community, while building lifelong friendships! Participating in camping trips, hikes, and other outdoor activities, Scouts learn basic outdoor survival skills from cooking to first aid. They develop leadership and social skills with their peers while attending weekly troop meetings. They understand the meaning of hard work and commitment after taking part in a service project within the community. The activities available in Boy Scouts are endless, designed to build character, leadership and personal values.
